Thank you for visiting my site. I moved to Lake Havasu City 7 years ago and have never looked back! It is one of the most extraordinary places! By most standards we are still a small town, but with such variety! HAVASU IS NOT JUST ANOTHER DESERT TOWN! With beautiful weather year round, and so many possibilities of how to spend your LONG day's, it is a jewel in the making, a secret yet to be found by many. I receive emails all the time asking me what there is to do in Lake Havasu, what makes it so special.....for me the answer is that it truly is a LIFESTYLE, a place where people come to be themselves, enjoy the weather, all the activities, and just have fun with their families and friends! Don't be surprised when you go out to dinner and find most people in flip-flops :-)
What's your fancy? Our season is YEAR ROUND FUN!
BOATING ANYONE? - From anywhere in Havasu you are only a few minutes to one of many launch ramps that will set you free on the lake. You can also enjoy excellent FISHING, SCUBA DIVING, PARA-SAILING, and World Championship Water Sporting Events.
GOLF - We have 5 golf courses here (Including the new Arnold Palmer Signature course - The Refuge) There are several more award winning courses within an hours drive.
HIKING OR ATV'S, DIRT TOYS? - We are surrounded by wide open land owned by BLM and it is permissible to ride and ride and ride!
The lake is beautiful, and so are the mountains that surround us. We have a college, a hospital, an airport, specialty stores, a theatre, concerts in the park, plays, classic car clubs, boat regattas - there is a different event every weekend (look for the calander of events button towards the top of the page). We have great restaurants and quite a night life. There is ALWAYS something to do in Lake Havasu!
Located only 1 hour from Laughlin, Nevada; two hours from Las Vegas; two hours from Mexico, three hours from Snow Skiing in Flagstaff, AZ and only 4-5 hours from the Southern California Coast. What a great location!
